In my previous post, FitBit 1 Month Update, I set some goals for myself for this past week.
My first goal was to reach a minimum of 10,000 steps per day. Unfortunately, Sunday i fell short by 302 steps! I wish I had ran up and down my stairs a couple more times lol .. but because of this little set back, it motivated me to push much harder for the rest of the week. I ended up doing a total of 126,790 steps for the week, and on my best day I did 29,254 steps!
My second goal was to burn my daily calorie goal, every day. My daily calorie goal to burn is 2,216 calories, and I burnt a total of 20,126 calories for the week! My high intensity workouts I have been doing definitely helped me achieve this goal.
My third goal was to workout a minimum of 6 days that week. I did not work out on Sunday, but I did workout Monday-Saturday. I have been using this app called 8fit over the past two weeks. It is like having a personal trainer; gives you a fitness test at the beginning and then puts together a workout program and meal plan for you based on your fitness goals. I have been using the workout program and they are filled with high intensity circuits, which I love. You burn so many calories in a shorter period of time, so even if you don’t have a lot of time to get a workout done these are great.
