Still a Fit Girl

As you all know I successfully completed the Fit Girls Guide 28 Day Jumpstart! (If you don’t know, you can check out my post here or more posts about my journey in the Health & Body section) 

So after I completed the 28 days, I felt very proud and happy with my results. I learnt so much about how to eat clean but still enjoy lots of yummy foods and have fun! I learnt about portion control and that you don’t have to be master chef to eat good and healthy !! 

To be honest I tried to keep up with the program after I completed the jumpstart, but I felt I was in a bit of a slump with our house hunting situation. I still stuck to eating clean at least 80% of the time but my workouts were  no-go anymore. I lost motivation to get up and workout. 

My goal weight post-baby was to get back to 125 lbs (I’m 5’6″), and after doing the 28 day jumpstart I weighed 127 and my waist had gotten down to 25.5 inches, so I was not far from my goal. I have actually lost more weight since ending the jumpstart program and as of Monday I weigh 121.3, but without doing my workouts I do not feel as toned as I wanna be.

Since we moved into our new house, I have felt a rush of motivation and happiness! So this past Monday I decided to re start the 28 day jumpstart, not to lose weight but just to tone up my body and feel stronger and healthier!!

Breakfast yesterday: small pita wrap with one egg scrambled with red peppers, spinach and feta. one banana and a glass of orange mango juice

 Today is Day 3 and I already feel so much better and have more energy! I’m excited to tone up and love my body even more!! I’ll keep you updated with my FitGirlJourney Pt2!
